Create your USI (Unique Student Identifier)
A USI is your personal education ID number. You need it to enrol in any course in Australia. It's free and stays with you for life.
Why this matters
Without a USI, you can't enrol in most courses, and you won't get your qualifications recognised.

Go to usi.gov.au and click 'Create USI'

Enter your details and verify your identity

Keep your USI safe - you'll need it for every course

Give your USI to your education provider during enrolment
Some universities create a USI for you during enrolment. Check if you already have one before creating a duplicate.
